| Handcuffed, assaulted and asked to pay a bribe of RM150 for a traffic violation. Gunasegaran, was on his way to buy groceries at a shop near his home stopped by a police officer for not wearing a helmet wasn´t carrying the necessary documents. “Police then took him to my house and doesn´t a valid driving license, Four plainclothes officers arrived soon after and arrested Gunasegaran, his youngest brother Magendran and a relative, Surish Kumar, who was visiting his family. “Police beat him and his brother, a student, and arrested all of them, including his relative who was at home during the incident. |
