Arrested on Nov 8 in front of Block A PPRT Section 8, Kota
Damansara. He was on his way back from work when he was asked to perform a
urine test for suspected drug use.
“He tried to loosen his pants following orders from plainclothes policemen,
but accidentally dropped his pants. He was assaulted and beaten up by the
policeman for this.“According to witnesses, his shirt was drenched in blood as a result of the beating,” he added.
According to the post-mortem report, the cause of death was
septicemia. Septicemia is bacteria in the blood caused by infections; in
Krishnan’s case, it was caused by open wounds to both his wrists.

latest death in custody involving Isparan Subramaniam, 37, on May 29,
2012. Isparan was pronounced dead at about 10.30am at Sungai Siput Utara
Police Station’s lock-up. The post mortem result from Ipoh Hospital indicates that Isparan died of
“Perforated Peptic Ulcer with Peritonitis”. Isparan was a suspected
drug addict and was arrested and detained at Sungai Siput lock-up before
his premature demise. But deceased had never had any gastreous problems and/or anything relating
to gastreous problems prior to the arrest. How could he have gotten
“Perforated Peptic Ulcer with Peritonitis” while under custody?

A wireman claimed that he was assaulted by a traffic policeman on
Thursday at a roadblock in Kota Kemuning. the policeman was angry at his
explanation and started hurling vulgarities at him, even calling him
“Cina babi” ( Chinese Pig). Aw then re-entered his van when the
policeman punched his right shoulder. Unknown to the officer, Aw’s video
recorder was switched on and the entire melee was recorded.

Allegedly beaten by a group of policemen until he fainted during the Thaipusam festival. He was holding a bottle of beer wrapped in a plastic bag when a man
approached him and abruptly snatched the bottle; and asked for his
identity card.
When Morle questioned who he was, the man assaulted him until he fell to the ground.
Then a group of policemen suddenly came over to kick and punch him while he was still lying on the roadside before thousands of people following the chariot. Morle was then dragged to a dark back lane where the policemen took turns to assault him, including beating him with mineral bottles, until he bled and fainted. |
