Batu Arang shooting police said was a 7km high-speed car chase that ended at Jalan Batu Arang in the early hours of Sept 14. According to the police, the three men, alleged to have been involved in an armed robbery, were killed during an exchange of fire. Police said a search of their vehicle found two semi-automatic handguns, three machetes, and face masks. Conflicting narratives from the police in Malaysia are bizarre and unacceptable. Janarthanan Vijayaratnam, a 40-year-old Sri Lankan national and UK resident, was on vacation in Malaysia. Until today, Moganambal is still missing, and the police have no clue.
