R.Suria	29	22 November 2008	As usual the police never inform the family the arrest of suspect and only informed them the death of suspect. This is done consistenly in almost most of the death in police custody.  ALOR STAR: A 29-year-old man detained in connection with several rape cases and an armed robbery in Kulim was found dead in the Kulim police headquarters lock-up on Saturday. Police found R. Suria, of Taman Lobak in Kulim, hanging from a towel tied to a beam about 6pm. State police chief Datuk Syed Ismail Syed Azizan said Suria had been detained in Jitra several days before that. He said Suria was believed to been dead for at least 30 minutes before his body was found. Suria's mother, S. Kanaghambal, 54, said: "I can't accept that he had hanged himself. He was mentally and physically healthy all this while."
